The Student Services social counseling center serves as the first point of contact for pregnant students and students with children. We’re here to listen to any questions you may have about this new phase of life.

We can advise you on organizational matters related to studying while raising a child, and we’ll provide you with an overview of the questions you may have during pregnancy and after the birth of your child.

The Studentenwerk Chemnitz-Zwickau issues a “Children’s Card” for students’ children. With this card, your child can receive a free children’s portion at lunch and dinner in our dining halls until the age of 7. You can pick up the complete application form for the Children’s Card at the information desks in Chemnitz and Zwickau.
