The academic advising service is available to all students who are unsure where to start with their studies, who are dissatisfied with their academic performance, or who struggle with concentration issues and distractions. We also provide guidance and tips to help adult learners get started with their studies.
The Academic Advising Service is available to all students who are unsure where or how to begin their studies, who are dissatisfied with their academic performance, or who struggle with concentration issues or distractions. In addition, the Learning Advisory Service specifically supports students pursuing higher education as a second career. If some time has passed between high school and their current studies, targeted learning often feels unfamiliar and challenging. The Learning Advisory Service can help address this feeling.
Depending on individual needs, topics such as time and self-management, relaxation and concentration techniques, procrastination, motivation for studying, or media use can be discussed.
The study counseling program is designed to provide support for a limited period of time. In one-on-one sessions spread over several appointments, your study habits are observed, analyzed, and optimized.
But what if the exam is already next week? In that case, we condense the learning counseling into a “crash course” with tips and tricks for your own learning, without going into too much depth.
You choose which option seems best for your situation.
