We offer spaces of various sizes for your event, high-quality catering services tailored to your specific needs, and a rental service.

At our location at Reichenhainer Straße 55 in Chemnitz (mensa⁵⁵ & cafete⁵⁵), the following spaces are available to you:

  • “Bar Ausgleich” with a stage, a bar counter with a back area, 314 square meters of floor space, and seating for up to 170 people
  • large dining hall, also featuring a stage, with an area of 858 m² and seating for up to approximately 500 people
  • “Sachsenstube,” with 156 square meters of floor space and seating for up to 100 people
  • “Fresh Cube,” with 165 square meters of floor space and approximately 90 seats
  • Conference room measuring 71 square meters with seating for approximately 16–20 people

Bookings for the cafete⁵⁵ are only possible in special cases and must be arranged on a case-by-case basis.

Unfortunately, table reservations at our facilities are currently only possible outside of exam and lecture periods. We appreciate your understanding.

At our other locations, the use of our facilities is primarily available for university-related or higher education purposes.

We have experience with events of various types and sizes and would be happy to advise you.

Within the university context, we offer our catering services for both internal and external events. External catering requests are generally welcome but can only be accommodated based on available capacity. However, we are always happy to assist with our expertise.

We also offer a rental service for tableware & cutlery, glasses, tablecloths, and similar items for up to 150 people from our inventory.

We ask that you submit your request as early as possible—this allows us to best accommodate any custom requests. We look forward to your inquiry!
