What can you expect from the Office Administration Apprenticeship?

You’ll gain insight into all departments, including accounting, human resources, and public relations, and will work alongside your colleagues on their daily tasks. A strong focus on practical experience ensures that your training period is diverse and varied. You may also have the opportunity to work on your own trainee projects as part of your training at Studentenwerk Chemnitz-Zwickau. For example, our trainees run their own Instagram channel.

What can you expect from an apprenticeship as an IT specialist for system integration?

During your 3-year apprenticeship at Studentenwerk Chemnitz-Zwickau, you’ll learn how to plan, set up, and maintain complex IT systems. From the very beginning, you’ll play an active role in exciting projects—from setting up new workstations and managing servers and networks to helping colleagues with technical issues.

You’ll gain insights into various IT fields, such as network technology, system administration, and IT security, and learn how hardware and software work together optimally. The focus is always on practical experience: You’ll be guided step by step toward taking on independent tasks and can apply your knowledge directly in your day-to-day work.

During your training, you’ll also have the opportunity to implement your own projects—for example, by setting up new IT systems or optimizing digital workflows. Our trainees take on responsibility, contribute their own ideas, and grow into true IT professionals.
